LRG Canada is happy to announce the addition of Mark Palmer as our Western Canada Sales Manager effective July 19, 2010. Mark is based in Vancouver and will look after B.C., Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba.
Mark comes to LRG Canada with over 12 years in the electrical industry managing some of the largest electrical contractors in Western Canada. Mark also worked as Branch manager for Grainger in British Columbia. Mark’s knowledge and experience developing and expanding new opportunities with government agencies, engineer firms, security consultants, electrical distributors and integrators will compliment his sales support with our vendors, distributors and dealers in the security and IT channels also. Mark is based in Vancouver and covers all of Western Canada for LRG.

 Daniel has spent over 25 years in the security industry managing some of the largest security systems in the province of Quebec. Daniel has worked as Branch manager for ADI in Montreal. For the last ten years Daniel has worked for a Representative agency in the security and AV industry.
With more than 25-years of experience in the security industry Daniel has the knowledge and the experience to develop and expand new opportunities with government agencies, engineer firms, security consultants, distributors and integrators.  Janis started her career in 1972 with Southwestern Bell Telephone Company in Houston, Texas as a Long Distance, Mobil Marine, Overseas Operator while continuing an education in electronics. She transferred into the Switching equipment department working in various high volume Switchrooms, maintenance and installation Service Control Centers until 2003. Her role is as Sales Support from 9am-6pm EST for our outside Canadian sales team.

When music festival organizers decided to arrange the Rockstock music festival last year, one of their challenges was to develop just the right security for the regional airport venue selected. Rockstock would showcase 16 rock bands on two stages, and it would attract more than 6,000 fans. The airport used for the one-day rock festival would have to be fully functional the day before the concert and back to full capacity the day after. The security, therefore, like everything else about the event, would have to be easily set up and removed. The solution was a wireless mesh surveillance system, including security cameras and monitoring stations that could be put up and taken down in a matter of hours. |
